Eureka Math2® is designed to ensure that students build enduring knowledge. Because students achieve greatness with the help of their teachers, Eureka Math2 offers an array of resources to support teachers too. I’ll share a few of the resources that I find very useful.
Get help with a couple of mouse clicks.
When you have questions about using the Eureka Math2 digital platform, check out The Digital Support Help Center. You’ll find helpful information on many topics along with pictures that make everything easy to understand and that can be used as a quick reference. There are sections on
- navigating the Great Minds® Digital Platform,
- facilitating digital lessons,
- assessment and reporting, and
- supporting students and families.
To get a sense of what’s there and how it’s organized, you may want to visit the Help Center before you need help. You can learn about special features like navigating the digital platform, annotating digital lessons, and reviewing the different types of assessment reports. There are even articles to share with students to help them navigate their own dashboards.
Get families and community involved.
The Family Support Resources (available in English and Spanish) webpage helps you introduce the curriculum to the extended school community. This part of the website helps families and community members become familiar with
- student books (Learn and Apply),
- materials,
- the Great Minds Digital Platform, and
- student Practice pages.
Use the resources you find in the Great Minds Digital Platform.
There is a lot of valuable information right at your fingertips when you’re in the Great Minds Digital Platform. Simply click on the “i” icon in the bottom right corner. You’ll see the Resource Center menu. I recommend looking at the Implement tab, where you’ll find implementation resources, scope and sequence documents, information about materials and manipulatives, and more.
The implementation guides are remarkable resources organized by grade band. They include useful information about teacher- and student-facing resources, lesson facilitation, pacing, and planning. You’ll find beneficial content about the structure of the Teach resources and the flow of lessons. You can also gain new insights into assessments and Achievement Descriptors. Additionally, you’ll find guidance on pacing and how to use the different instructional routines embedded in lessons. Most importantly, you have access to a framework for how to prepare to teach Eureka Math2 lessons.
After exploring these resources, I was reassured that I had the tools I needed to get started. I have go-to sources that I can access in the moment to support the planning and delivery of Eureka Math2 lessons and guide my students in using and navigating their materials. Having a place where you can quickly find the help you need makes a world of difference.
