Teacher Edition
Available for each module at each grade level, the Teach book is the Teacher Edition, which provides all the instructional guidance that educators need to engage in the module’s learning with students. The full-color, spiral-bound book is available as part of a six-volume set and includes an overview of the module and topic, Achievement Descriptors and Proficiency Indicators, and margin notes that provide information on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiation, and language support.
Student Edition
The Learn books are students’ companion book to the instruction in the Teach books. They contain all the pages students need as educators implement each lesson.
- In Levels K–5, student workbooks include the Lesson Pages, Problem Sets, Exit Tickets (except in Kindergarten), the Talking Tool, and the Thinking Tool.
- In addition to the above, grades 6–Algebra I* include Ben Orlin’s Math with Bad Drawings as Topic Openers, Practice problems, Recap problems, Mixed Practice, and Fluency Resources.
Additional Student Materials
The Apply book is available for each module in grades 1–5 and gives students more practice with the concepts learned in class. There are three components in Apply that support students in deepening their understanding of the concepts covered in the daily lesson: Family Math (included in the Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Learn book), Practice, and Practice Partners.
Data Talks
Great Minds Data Talks offer accessible data literacy activities that engage students in critical thinking and discourse while interpreting data visualizations. Explore a sample of our Data Talks' Teacher Resources (pdf, 530kb) and Student Resources (pdf, 264kb). Data Talks are available for grades K–Algebra I* and both student and teacher resources can be downloaded as a PDF.
Observational Assessment Recording Sheets (OARS)
Short, qualitative checklist that captures student progress toward specific Developmental Progressions (PK) or Achievement Descriptors (K–Algebra I*). OARS can be found in the Teach book or as a PDF download for grades PK–2. For grade levels PK–Algebra I*, OARS are available as a downloadable PDF.
Performance Assessments
Performance Assessments allow students to showcase learning and skills from the major work of the grade. This alternative method of assessment leverages the mathematical practices and suggests some next steps for student learning based on student responses. Performance Assessments are available as a downloadable PDF.
Manipulative Kits
These kits are a curated collection of physical classroom materials and tools that help students develop mathematical understanding and maximize learning coherence between grades while minimizing classroom distractions. Both complete and supplemental kits are available for purchase.
Talking Tool and Thinking Tool
The Talking Tool and the Thinking Tool can be found in every student Learn book and as a poster in the manipulatives kit for each grade level. These tools are scaffolds that support students in engaging in mathematical discourse with others and in developing and applying metacognitive skills.
Digital Teacher Materials
All teacher materials and lesson slides for every lesson at every grade level can be accessed digitally. You’ll also find implementation resources, such as Implementation Guides, Scope and Sequence documents, and more, to help teachers plan and teach Eureka Math2.
Certain Spanish Resources are available online for grade levels PK–Algebra I.
Assessments with Scoring and Reports
Many assessments can be administered and scored digitally. When assessments are administered digitally, teachers gain access to a large variety of highly visual reports that outline student performance and proficiency at the student, class, school, and district levels.
Premium Assessment
The Premium Assessment package is available for additional purchase and includes Eureka Math2 Equip™ and Benchmark Assessments. The Eureka Math2 Equip Pre-Module Assessment identifies a student’s last point of success with the essential foundational knowledge for the module, while the detailed report and linked supporting activities help teachers seamlessly bridge any gaps. Benchmark Assessments measure student proficiency with math skills and concepts from the two previous modules and selected review skills reflecting the major work of the grade.
Context Videos
Context videos are accessible, low-floor, high-ceiling videos that show diverse characters and people using math in real-world situations. Context videos can be accessed by teachers on the Eureka Math2 digital platform.
Digital Manipulatives
With digital manipulatives, students can create visuals, manipulate models, and develop mathematical thinking by using digital versions of many of the physical manipulatives. Teachers can also use these same tools to display and demonstrate concepts during class.
Professional Development and Coaching
These include a range of virtual and in-person sessions led by our team of teacher–writers to support schools and districts through implementation. Watch the video or visit this page to learn more.
Implementation Guides
These in-depth guides provide an overview of lesson components at each grade band, along with implementation support for planning and facilitating lessons, assessing student understanding, and much more. All Implementation Guides can be found on the Eureka Math2 digital platform.
Curriculum Overview Map
In this visual layout, you’ll find the skill progressions within and across grade levels, pacing estimates, and the number of topics and lessons in each module and grade level. View the Curriculum Overview Map below or on the Eureka Math2 digital experience.
Family Resources
Eureka Math2 embeds family support resources into the Learn and Apply books. Families and caregivers can also view our Curriculum Overview for Families in both English and Spanish to learn more about the curriculum and how best to support their students.
