Private Professional Development
Come together with educators from your school or district for an on-site or virtual PD session. All virtual sessions with Great Minds facilitators can accommodate up to 35 educators; on-site sessions can accommodate up to 50 educators.
Virtual Open Enrollment
Join educators from around the country for an open enrollment virtual PD session. Designed for 20–35 participants, sessions are led by an experienced Great Minds facilitator.

BUILDING A FOUNDATION
This session is appropriate for educators starting year 1 with K–2 Geodes or who have not yet engaged in professional learning around Geodes. All virtual sessions can accommodate up to 35 educators; on-site sessions can accommodate up to 50 educators.
Getting Started with Level K–2 Geodes
This session unpacks the why, what, and how of Geodes for levels K–2, preparing educators to effectively use the books in their classrooms. Participants delve into early literacy research that informed the design of Geodes; explore how the books’ accessible, knowledge-building approach supports emerging and developing readers; and learn how Geodes resources support instructional planning.
