Level K–2 Geodes® Coaching Series: Kickoff Session
The Kickoff session introduces leaders, coaches, and teachers to the Geodes Coaching Series. The Kickoff session opens the series, establishing a vision for small-group reading practice and orienting the team to using data to inform decision-making with Level K–2 Geodes. Participants learn a process for preparing small group practice that becomes the foundation for future work in the series.
Observe Small Group Reading Practice with Level K–2 Geodes
This session introduces leaders and coaches to effective small group reading practice with Geodes. Through classroom observation, participants build their understanding of the current state of Geodes implementation, set goals for future sessions, and learn how they can support teachers with providing reading practice.
Prepare Reading Practice for Accuracy Goals, Level K–2 Geodes
Designed specifically for leaders, In this session, participants build their understanding of the development of accurate word reading, review current data from the foundational skills program, and prepare small group reading practice for students who need additional support with accurate word reading.

Implement Reading Practice with Level K–2 Geodes
Designed to follow any Prepare session in the series, this culminating session in the series gathers teachers, coaches, and leaders to observe teachers from their school or district as they facilitate small group reading practice with Geodes. Participants engage in meaningful reflection about effective reading practice and leave ready to apply their learning in the classroom or as coaches and observers.
