FOR STUDENTS

Daily Student Videos

PhD Science lessons and investigations have been adapted to a distance learning environment, including read alouds of supporting texts for a module. The videos are available in English and Spanish. After each video students will complete lesson-specific tasks in their Science Journals. Watch the Level 4 Module 1 Lesson 2a video to see the student experience.

Science Journal

After or during each video lesson students will be asked to complete work in their Science Journal. These are Fillable PDFs focused on the essential learning of the lesson and are available in both English and Spanish.

FOR TEACHERS

Learn Anywhere Plan

This fall will look different. To help teachers meet the demands of hybrid learning, we’ve created the Learn Anywhere Plan through the Great Minds in Sync digital platform. The online plan provides a pacing guide to help teachers plan daily lessons for students who are learning in class or at home. The plan highlights the following:

Content of the Student Video
Specific tasks students will be given to complete their Science Journal
Conversation topics for virtual class meetings
