TEACH MORE MEANINGFUL ENGLISH The lauded K–8 English language arts curriculum, Wit & Wisdom®, has transformed instruction in classrooms across the nation. Through the use of complex texts of the highest quality students explore topics such as the four seasons, the American Revolution, and space exploration, while mastering skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in concert. Participants will learn how Wit & Wisdom incorporates complex texts into each lesson and get a tour of the support resources available to allow every student to engage with the content. WONDER, INVESTIGATE, KNOW Experience the PhD Science curriculum for Levels K–5 that's rooted in the NGSS and has transformed science classrooms where students don't just read about science–they do science. Participants will get a walkthrough of this Tier 1 rated science curriculum's instructional design and materials, including the free K–2 open educational resources, and the suite of support resources for teachers, students, and families. LEARNING TO READ WHILE READING TO LEARN Introducing Geodes, a new approach to early literacy for Levels K–2 where students apply decoding skills while building knowledge of the world around them. Participants will see the science of reading in action with the accessible, knowledge-building Geodes library and experience how students' reading skills progress as they engage with beautiful art and learn about new places, cultures, and creatures.
