Capsule PD Session
Launch: Bringing Eureka Math2 to Life


Teachers new to math curriculum will investigate the structure, design, and components of Eureka Math2while engaging with the curriculum's print and digital resources. Teachers will explore the instructional role of all the curriculum resources and be prepared to facilitate lessons with students.


Shifts in Science Instruction
Session 1

Participants leave this session with an understanding of the shifts in science instruction and how those shifts are present in PhD Science. 


Using the Digital Platform & Implementation Resources 
Session 2

Participants leave this session feeling confident in navigating the digital platform to find a variety of implementation resources, including the digital Teacher Edition, PhD Projected slides, the implementation guide, and professional learning videos.


Preparing with the Preparation Protocols 
Session 3

In this session, participants explore the targeted module and lesson study protocols. Teachers can best facilitate learning when they have a coherent understanding of the module and the lesson set’s role in the knowledge-building progression.


Tips and Tricks for Facilitating Anchor Visuals 
Session 4

Participants explore the three anchor visuals and engage in an immersive student-hat experience. This experience will uncover tips and tricks for facilitating the development of anchor visuals with students. 


Discourse in a Student-Driven Classroom 
Session 5

In this session, participants observe discourse in a PhD Science classroom and leave with resources to support their facilitation of student-led discourse.
