HD Word from Really Great Reading
HD Word by Really Great Reading is a set of lessons that build the important and lifelong foundations needed for all future academic and life success. They systematically teach the essential phonics structures that unlock the English code in both simple and complex words.
This targeted intervention can be used for third graders and older students who struggle with multisyllabic words and more advanced phonics skills but have mastered most basic phonics skills. The program includes 33 weeks of efficient, targeted instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, syllable types, and fluency and easy, ready-to-teach scripted lessons, complemented by a ready-made, colorful, animated teacher presentation tool.
Geodes Level 2
This solution features our Level 2 Geodes: 64 unique book titles that will allow students to practice their decoding skills while building knowledge on topics from science to history and more. Students will explore the four seasons around the world in books such as Seed Stash and Daytime Darkness. They’ll see into the lives of Native Americans in books covering the westward expansion of the United States, learn about civil rights heroes and examine their impact on equality and justice in the United States, and, finally, learn where food comes from and how it fuels our bodies as well as our communities.
Our teacher guide, Inside Geodes®, offers teachers a resource that provides Book Notes for each Geodes title with flexible teaching opportunities. In these Book Notes, you can find vocabulary practice, comprehension questions, image discussion guides, response journal prompts, and teachable moments.
