LAURIE DUMA

Northeast Regional Solutions Manager

Hello, I am Laurie Duma, the Regional Solutions Manager for the Northeast working closely with other sales representatives in the region. Prior to joining Great Minds in 2017, I established a professional development organization for educators in the New York metropolitan area. I worked at Promethean as a Teaching & Learning Consultant and Regional Manager.

Before beginning my career as an educator, I worked in the financial industry working on the trading floor of the exchange for 7 years. Thereafter, I served as an educator at PS 123 Bushwick, Brooklyn taking over my mom's classroom. I then moved to PS 35 in Hollis, Queens training students to become financial traders on the NYC trading floor. Eventually, I became a grade leader and participated in SLT.

I am an alum of St. John's University with a bachelors in mathematics and master's in education. I credit my success to my belief in a rigorous curriculum, great support, and students can truly achieve greatness.
