Hello, I am Chris Huxley, the Great Minds® Account Solutions Manager for Connecticut, Long Island, and Rhode Island.

 

I grew up in Massachusetts and currently live in eastern Connecticut. I received my master’s degree in education from Johns Hopkins School of Education in Baltimore, Maryland, and am also a proud UConn alumni. I began my career in education as a math teacher in West Baltimore city. It was here where I first experienced the impact of Eureka Math® from Great Minds. The curriculum provided all my students the opportunity to build knowledge. I soon gained a passion for ensuring that all classrooms have the tools to support the success of both students and educators, just like I did with Eureka Math. About four years ago, I left the classroom to help establish primary and secondary virtual school programs for school districts across the globe. In May 2022, I joined the Great Minds team. I am so grateful to be able to provide educational solutions for schools in Connecticut, Long Island, and Rhode Island.

What began as a small group of K–12 advocates with a passion for knowledge has grown quickly into teams of hundreds of teacher-writers on a mission to elevate education in every classroom.
