Eureka Math2 features a cohesive system of assessments that provides teachers with deeper visibility into student learning and helpful data to inform instructional decisions.

Pre-Module assessments are included with the Eureka Math2 Equip™ digital assessment tool* to help identify a student's last point of success with essential foundational knowledge and provide supporting activities to bridge knowledge gaps.

Eureka Math2 features the following formative assessments to ensure students are on track and help inform instruction:
- Observational Assessment Recording Sheets provide a short, qualitative checklist that captures student progress toward specific Developmental Progressions (PreK) or Achievement Descriptors (K–Algebra I)
- Daily Exit Tickets for Levels 1–Algebra I help teachers reflect on student progress shape instruction for the following day accordingly.
- Topic Tickets (Levels 1–2) & Topic Quizzes (Level 3–Algebra I) help tie together concepts and may also be used as summative assessments.
Eureka Math2 features the following summative assessments to help measure student proficiency with major concepts, skills, and applications against standards over time:
- Module Assessments assess student proficiency at the end of each module.
- Performance Assessments include activities for students to apply their understanding and skills to solve knowledge-rich context problems.
- Benchmark Assessments* gauge student proficiency with math skills from previous modules and reflect the major work of the grade.

Math Catalyst provides educators with the content they need to provide responsive, targeted multi-tier instruction and support with practice, application, and Mini Lessons to support students at ever tier of learning.
The Math Catalyst resource consists of the following seven strands across Kindergarten through Grade 5, each composed of a progression of Concepts, and each Concept includes a series of components that can be used in small group direct instruction as well as stations:

Teacher Experience
Includes everything teachers need to plan, teach, assign work, assess for understanding, and analyze assessment data, including:
- digital access to all content available in the Teach, Learn, and Apply print materials
- lesson facilitation slides for each grade, context videos, digital teacher-led interactives
- powerful tools for distributing assignments and assessments, and analyzing student work to monitor their progress

Student Experience
The Eureka Math2 digital platform includes everything students will need for success, including:

Eureka Math2 digital assessments can be assigned to individual students, groups of students, or an entire class and generate the following in-depth reports that outline student performance and proficiency at the student, class, school, and district levels:
- Classroom Reports: Access whole-class data to identify trends, form learning groups, and monitor progress.
- Individual Reports: View data at the individual student level to identify misconceptions, communicate with families, and address relearning.
- Admin Reports: Monitor proficiency from a district level with administrative reports broken down by standard, grade level, school, etc.
- Eureka Math2 Equip™ Reports*: Analyze student performance on pre-module assessments, view auto-generated student group recommendations based on needs, and access supporting activities to help fill gaps in foundational knowledge.
