Eureka Math² Pathways to Mastery offers simple, flexible online solutions that connect diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments with targeted instructional resources. By extending the embedded module, topic, and lesson components of Eureka Math², it brings together three complementary assessments that support student growth.
Eureka Math² Equip
Pre-module diagnostic assessments measure readiness for upcoming content.
Eureka Math² Equip® identify students’ last point of success and prerequisite skills gaps before instruction begins, giving teachers a clear picture of readiness. Built-in reports and grouping recommendations turn results into actionable next steps, enabling targeted, just-in-time support.
Math Catalyst
Tier 2 and 3 intervention support for key grade level concepts.
Math Catalyst™ provides teachers with targeted resources that reinforce and extend Eureka Math2 learning. Spanning seven strands, Math Catalyst supports with Tier 2 and 3 intervention across foundational K-5 standards.
Benchmark Assessments
Cumulative progress monitoring across the school year.
Curriculum-aligned Benchmark Assessments give educators clarity they can trust. Because they are intentionally built to mirror the scope, sequence, and rigor of the curriculum, they provide a true cumulative measure of knowledge over time.
Diagnostic Assessment
- Before the learning begins, Eureka Math² Equip diagnoses students’ prerequisite skills gaps using pre-module assessments.
- Equip assessments can be taken in print or digitally. The digital assessment questions adapt to student responses providing precise intel on skill gaps.
- Equip Supporting Activities provide instructional opportunities to review and fill knowledge gaps before new module instruction begins.
Formative Assessment
- Inform daily decision-making using data from lesson-level Exit Tickets and Self-Reflections.
- Weekly progress monitoring can be achieved using the Topic Tickets and Topic Quizzes.
- Observational Assessment Recording Sheets are used to assess student understanding by documenting how learners explain and represent their thinking.
Summative Assessment
- Determine proficiency and knowledge development for each module using Module Assessments and Performance Tasks.
- Assess student proficiency with cumulative math skills and concepts from all previous modules with Benchmark Assessments.
Data-Driven Differentiation
- Differentiate in-the-moment during lesson instruction using Differentiation Teacher Notes, Universal Design for Learning prompts, Multilingual Learner Support, and Language Routines.
- Address Tier 2 and 3 intervention needs to reinforce Eureka Math² learning with Math Catalyst Concept Mini Lessons.
