Before School Starts

Now that you know what each book does, take time to think about how you’ll organize them in your classroom. Watch the Managing Materials video on the digital platform (Implementation tab → How-to Videos) for efficient, practical tips on preparing and staying organized during lessons. Have your Teach book handy to review the materials list as you watch—it will help you identify what you need to have ready before day one.
Consider where student books will live (desks, bins, a central shelf), how you’ll distribute and collect them, and whether students will take Apply books home daily or weekly. Small decisions made now prevent recurring disruptions once instruction is underway.
