Eureka Math includes a layered assessment system designed to give you continuous insight into student understanding without adding extra work to your day.

Exit Tickets: Every lesson ends with one—a short, focused task to gauge student understanding. Sort responses into “Got It,” “Almost Got It,” and “Not Yet” to plan your next steps. This simple sorting routine is one of the most actionable data tools in the curriculum.

Topic-Level Quizzes: Available digitally on the platform. Use them for grading or as formative checks at the end of each topic.

Mid-Module Assessments: Check understanding at the halfway point of each module. Use results to adjust pacing and target reteaching before the End-of-Module Assessment.

End-of-Module Assessments: Cumulative assessments that cover the full arc of each module. Rubrics and answer keys are included in the Teacher Edition.

Note: All written assessments are available in English and Spanish.

How to Assign, Score, and Reopen

• Assign: Select the assessment you’d like to use and choose Assign in the top-right corner. From there, fill out a quick form to set your preferences.
• Score: Once a student completes the assessment, you can review and score their work directly on the platform. Use the provided rubrics to evaluate student thinking.
• Reopen: Need a student to retry? Select Review on the assignment, open the More options menu (three dots on the right), and select Reopen.
