•  explore the components of a module -- a unit of study in reading, questioning, writing about, and discussing knowledge-building texts

This session empowers educators to implement the curriculum with integrity by strategically customizing lessons to meet students’ needs. Participants will:

• connect the module goals to key skills and knowledge in an arc of lessons
  
• determine essential actions in a lesson in accordance with students’ skills and challenges
  
• shape lesson-level instruction in ways that maintain rigor
